Lead Teacher Message
Welcome to Huron Primary, home of the Early Learning Center. I am honored to be serving as the Lead Teacher for our wonderful preschool program. This is my 28th year working in the district. All of my years have been dedicated to our amazing preschool! I have my Bachelors degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Early Childhood Education through 8th Grade and my Masters degree from Youngstown State University in Early Childhood Special Education with the Early Education of the Handicap endorsement.
During my years of teaching, I have been part of many district committees and building committees. I have served many roles at the preschool including classroom special education teacher, Intervention specialist, Itinerant Teacher and case manager, just to name a few.
My goal for this school year is to help maintain the positive, caring and developmentally appropriate preschool that we have built and are very proud of.
I look forward to my newest role at the preschool and can’t wait to see the youngest of Ashtabula enter our doors to enjoy learning!
